A good warmup can help prevent injury, but what is the best way to stretch before a hit in the hot summer sun? Our answer: dynamic stretching. Dynamic stretching is a great way to get your muscles warm without straining them, and helps protect against injury on the court and cramps after. Some key muscle areas to stretch are:

  1. Hips
  2. Knees
  3. Thighs (inner & outer leg)
  4. Shoulders

Tennis warehouse has a great video detailing 6 different steps players can take to warm up properly, and we recommend setting aside 10-15 minutes ahead of time to go through the stretches. Happy hitting!
